Living instruments of just legal understanding

Ensuring global peace today requires an integrated mechanism of international security legal structures. Modern trends in the development of legal science allow us to talk about the strengthening of the transformation of lawmaking under the influence of legal convergence processes, caused by the internationalisation of the world system and globalisation changes that form new and affect existing legal realities. The processes taking place provide an opportunity to identify similarities between different legal traditions and find mechanisms of intersection in the dynamics of legal development. 

The promising directions of updating the international legal order and national legislation have been identified. It emphasises the need for a strategic approach to reforming international security institutions, in the context of modern global challenges and threats, in order to guarantee and protect the world law and order, the state, civil society, human and civil rights and freedoms. The law, as a universal regulator, is designed to ensure the systematic functioning of institutional and social-power mechanisms of interaction under any circumstances. It is important to return to the values of law that unite the world. To correctly evaluate them, to penetrate their deep essence, means to realise the principles, purpose and tasks of a fair understanding of law. 

The study offers a comprehensive vision of the problem of ensuring global legal security. 

It creates a basis for the development of concepts related to the revision of the functionality of international institutions in the field of ensuring global legal security. It is designed for applicants, pedagogical and scientific workers of higher education institutions, law enforcement officers, judges, people’s deputies of Ukraine and everyone who is interested in the development of law.
